Give Yourself a Present Every Day

Over a decade ago, there was an awesome TV show called Twin Peaks.

Some sage advice from its main character Special Agent Dale Cooper:

"Harry, I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee."

My favorite darkest roast bean ground to almost powder then made into coffee in my French Press is about the best coffee in the world to me.

Today, that's my gift to me.

It's a good idea.
